Practice Consultant work at Walmart Argentina (2014) as part of the Bachelor’s capstone final project.
For this project we received the best bachelor capstone award and we achieved savings over 3 million USD per year for Walmart.
Key activities:
- Originated global logistic cost-management dashboard.
- Survey & analysis of the main distribution center and several types of stores (e.g. proximity stores vs pull stores).
- Logistics processes analysis, modeling, and improvement opportunities identification.
- Development of an action plan for each identified improvement, taking into account: necessary training, change management, risks, actions to address, and work schedule.
